About

More Than Just a Language Class

We help children in Dallas grow proud of their Persian identity, one joyful lesson at a time.

Why We Do What We Do

Behind every Persian word learned, there’s a deeper story being told a story of heritage, identity, and love.

Our mission is to bridge generations through language. In a world where kids often grow up speaking only English, we offer a joyful, pressure-free space where they can explore the richness of Persian. We believe language is more than just words — it’s a doorway to family bonds, cultural pride, and a deeper sense of self.

We’re here to nurture that connection, one child at a time.

How It All Started

The Heart Behind the Classroom

It all began with one grandmother’s love and a heartfelt concern.

Nasrin, a devoted grandmother living in Dallas, watched her grandchildren grow up fluent in English but distant from the Persian language and culture she held dear. She realized they were missing something irreplaceable: the ability to read, speak, and connect with their roots.

What started as a few simple lessons in a local library for her own grandchildren quickly turned into a growing community of families who shared the same desire — to help their kids learn Persian in a warm, joyful, and culturally rich environment.

Today, that spark has become a movement — a welcoming space where children build not only language skills but also identity, confidence, and a deep sense of belonging.

Our Mission

Language as a Bridge to Identity

At Persian Kids Dallas, our mission is simple yet powerful:

To help children build a lifelong connection to the Persian language — and through it, to their culture, identity, and family.

We believe that language is more than just communication. It’s a vessel for stories, memories, values, and belonging. By nurturing bilingualism in a joyful and engaging way, we empower kids to thrive in both of their worlds — Persian and American.

Whether it’s reading a Persian poem, singing a lullaby their grandparents once did, or having their first full conversation in Farsi, every milestone matters. And we’re honored to be part of that journey.

How We Teach

Simple. Joyful. Culturally Rich.

At Persian Kids Dallas, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and celebrated. That’s why our classes are:

With small class sizes and a warm, patient instructor, learning Farsi becomes more than just language acquisition, it becomes a celebration of identity.

A Note from Nasrin

Why I Started This Journey

As a grandmother watching my own grandchildren grow up in the U.S., I realized how quickly language—and with it, connection—can slip away. I wanted them to not only understand Persian but to feel proud of it. I began teaching them songs, telling them stories, and slowly, a spark lit up in their eyes.

That spark inspired me to create a space where more children could experience the same joy—a place where language is more than words; it’s love, culture, and belonging. Every child in our class is like family to me, and nothing makes me happier than watching them greet their grandparents in Farsi with confidence and pride.

Looking Ahead

Language as a Bridge to Identity

Keeping Language Alive, One Child at a Time

Our mission is simple but heartfelt: to keep the Persian language alive in the hearts of our children. We believe that every word learned is a bridge—between generations, between cultures, and between who they are and where they come from.

As we grow, we hope to welcome more families into our warm, supportive community. Whether your child speaks a little Farsi or none at all, this is a place to start—or continue—the journey with joy and confidence.

Thank you for being part of this story. Let’s raise proud, bilingual kids—together.
